John D. McIntyre

John McIntyre’s practice focuses on the representation of individual and business in commercial disputes, business formation, structure and governance, commercial contracts and commercial real estate acquisitions and sales.  Mr. McIntyre also represents debtors and creditors in out-of-court workout proceedings and bankruptcy court.   Capitalizing on his experience in both insolvency proceedings and commercial litigation, Mr. McIntyre brings a unique perspective to his corporate and real estate practice by ensuring whenever possible that clients are protected before disputes arise.

Relevant experience includes:

  • Representation of clients in the sale of multifamily properties.
  • Representation of clients in the sale of industrial and commercial properties, including those with environmental challenges.
  • Served as counsel to clients in relation to the establishment of solar farms.
  • Representation of clients in the acquisition of burrow pits, industrial waterfront properties and farm land.
  • Served as counsel to clients in analysis of private equity investments.
  • Acted as counsel to purchasers of assets and ongoing business operations through bankruptcy, foreclosure sales and debt acquisition structures.
  • Advised clients with respect to newly formed businesses, joint venture agreements and long-term contracts.
  • Represented individuals in various aspects of estate planning, including structuring plans based upon client-specific needs, and the analysis and defense of pre-existing plans.
  • Represented clients in various commercial disputes in both state and federal courts.
  • Acted as counsel in defense of preference and fraudulent conveyance actions.
